Tiruvannamalai Trip, TN - Arunachaleswara Temple

Arunachaleswara Temple: Introduction: Got some break time during Christmas (Year 2021) and planned to visit Tiruvannamalai, TN. This is the place of holy Arunachaleswara Temple.  Arunachala Hill -- The Hill of light! It's said that Lord Shiva was manifested in Arunachal hill in the Man-Woman form and a pillar of fire! Arunachaleswara temple is one of the five temples associated to five basic elements. This temple is associated wit the element of FIRE! Temple Structure: Arunachaleswara temple is one of the largest temples in India. This temple is spread over 24 acres and is known for its architectural and sculptural splendour! There are 9 towers in the temple. Raja Gopuram in the east is the tallest tower. Inside the temple: Arunachaleswara temple is famous for Lord Shiva and Maa Parvathi. Rameswaram Trip - Har Har Mahadev! Trip Date: Nov 5th and 6th 2022 Distance from Bangalore: 611 km Time taken by road: 11 hrs Road: NH 44 and NH 87 - Road condition - Excellent Rameswaram is a town on Pamban Island, in the southeast Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It’s known for Shri Ramanathaswamy Temple, a Hindu pilgrimage site with ornate corridors, huge sculpted pillars and sacred water tanks. Devotees bathe in the waters of Agni Theertham, off the beach east of the temple.  Lord Ram and Maa Sita had consecrated the Jyotirling at Rameswaram after killing Ravan while returning back from Lanka. 22 Kund Snanam or Theerth Snanam: 22 Kund Snanam starts with Samudra Snanam at Agni Theertham . It is believed that the first kund/theertham lies submerged under the sea and hence the snanam ritual starts from taking a dip at  Agni Theertham .
