Blogging... the next generation journalism...

Hi Everybody,

Some days ago, we all witnessed a very dirty face of Orissa because of communal violence in Kandhamal... and the whole world saw it.. and Orissa has been criticised from all parts of world.. including the pope from Vatican..

From my point of view, "Orissa should not be subjected to such hate campaign for actions of a few miscreants".
Because of these bad campaign, now a days our role (intellectual mass) has become very crucial for a better society.
The problem with us is that though we know a lot of stuffs we don't share it. Though we can analyze so many stuffs but we don't express it. But unfortunately, the fundamentalists (though they are wrong in their thinking) express their opinion very openly and without fear. That's why the media and the people are listening to them. This is really bad.

So, I think blogging is very crucial. Let us express our thoughts by writing blogs. We can blog in different news channel web site. I can see blogging as the next generation journalism.

Yesterday I was reading an article on the Jodhpur stampede. As per the bloggers opinion, this year more people have died in temple stampede than terrorism. If we are taking terrorism serously at the same time we can not afford to take the safety of pilgrims lightly. Definitely Govt will take the input of the bloggers seriously. As always the strength of a pen is very very powerful. It can decide the fate of a Govt.

So, let us start blogging. Let us share our thoughts with people and definitely it'll shape our society for a better tomorrow.

Thanks,
Srimaya

Tutun Bhaina, you are right.. the good intellectuals should come to politics... however, I strongly feel that if the intellectuals are not in politics still they can contribute to the society through their knowledge and good leadership... they can start from anywhere.. It is not mandatory that to do something you need to be in politics...

It’s known for Shri Ramanathaswamy Temple, a Hindu pilgrimage site with ornate corridors, huge sculpted pillars and sacred water tanks. Devotees bathe in the waters of Agni Theertham, off the beach east of the temple.  Lord Ram and Maa Sita had consecrated the Jyotirling at Rameswaram after killing Ravan while returning back from Lanka. 22 Kund Snanam or Theerth Snanam: 22 Kund Snanam starts with Samudra Snanam at Agni Theertham . It is believed that the first kund/theertham lies submerged under the sea and hence the snanam ritual starts from taking a dip at  Agni Theertham . Agni Theertham is just walking distance away from the main temple. After the Samudra Snanam it was time for the 22 Kund Snanam. And all t...
