Online Voting System..

There has been a complaint against the educated mass of India that they don't go for voting... Yes, this is true.. There are number of reasons for this.. (like lack of good candidates in politics etc.). However, one more reason is that how will they cast their vote?
Let us elaborate on this point..
Now, this is the era of globalization... People are working across globe.. The young and educated mass of India are fortunate enough to get jobs in different places of India.. So, it's not feasible for a person (who is working in different state or country) to be present in his ward to cast vote on the voting day.. Hmmm.. so, what's the solution?? Immediately, I can think of "Online Voting System".

These days we are doing most of our activities (like banking, credit card payment, electricity bill payment etc.) through internet and it's proven that transactions done through internet is secure and safe..
I can not understand why "Online Voting System" is not available in the current high tech world.. Definitely this is feasible.. However, to implement this the pre-requisite is that each person has to be identified by a unique number (like SSN in USA).
Definitely we are not telling to defunct the traditional voting system. In addition to traditional voting system, the online voting system should exist..

So, let us find out some pros and cons of the online voting system:
1. Increase in the number of voters (Pros)
2. Deserving candidate will win (Pros)
3. Counting of vote will be easy (Pros)
4. In the voting web site, we can put the manifesto of each party and the credentials of each candidate. So, it'll be easy for the voter to judge whom to vote (Pros)

5. Hackers will try to hack the system, so it has to be very very secure (Cons)
So, this year election we'll vote through our traditional system (though we are using electronic voting machine). Hopefully in the next election, we'll be using the online voting system.

Thanks,
Srimaya Rath

This is indeed a good thought...
Even, how about the idea of "early voting".Early voting is the process by which voters can cast their vote on a single or series of days prior to an election. Not only will it reduce the congestion on the election day but also help people plan their schedules to go out to vote. Many nations across the globe adhere to this kind of voting too...

Trip Date: Nov 5th and 6th 2022 Distance from Bangalore: 611 km Time taken by road: 11 hrs Road: NH 44 and NH 87 - Road condition - Excellent Rameswaram is a town on Pamban Island, in the southeast Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It’s known for Shri Ramanathaswamy Temple, a Hindu pilgrimage site with ornate corridors, huge sculpted pillars and sacred water tanks. Devotees bathe in the waters of Agni Theertham, off the beach east of the temple.  Lord Ram and Maa Sita had consecrated the Jyotirling at Rameswaram after killing Ravan while returning back from Lanka. 22 Kund Snanam or Theerth Snanam: 22 Kund Snanam starts with Samudra Snanam at Agni Theertham . It is believed that the first kund/theertham lies submerged under the sea and hence the snanam ritual starts from taking a dip at  Agni Theertham . Agni Theertham is just walking distance away from the main temple. After the Samudra Snanam it was time for the 22 Kund Snanam. And all t...
