Professionals in Politics

Any good outcome from 26/11? Yes, the incident has reunited the country and it has pushed the intellect mass to join politics.
Meera Sanyal (country head of ABN AMRO) is contesting Lok Sabha election as an independent candidate from South Mumbai. Hats-off to her for the brave decision .. I hope this is just the beginning of professionals entering into politics.. many more to follow..

Though Meera Sanyal's decision to enter politics is well respected and being welcomed by everyone but the question comes why to contest as an independent candidate? Why not to join a political party? But which party Meera Sanyal can join? Definitely a big 'NO' to Congress or BJP (Anyway, she'll not get the ticket).
In my opinion, she should join the "PROFESSIONAL PARTY OF INDIA". Meera Sanyal could relate her ideology with Professional Party and the probability of winning the election is more if there is a party back-up rather than contesting as an independent. Also the Professional Party will evolve as a stronger party with the inclusion of people like Meera Sanyal.

Meera is contributing her part towards the society and let's play our role atleast by participating in the poll and electing the intellectuals.

Trip Date: Nov 5th and 6th 2022 Distance from Bangalore: 611 km Time taken by road: 11 hrs Road: NH 44 and NH 87 - Road condition - Excellent Rameswaram is a town on Pamban Island, in the southeast Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It’s known for Shri Ramanathaswamy Temple, a Hindu pilgrimage site with ornate corridors, huge sculpted pillars and sacred water tanks. Devotees bathe in the waters of Agni Theertham, off the beach east of the temple.  Lord Ram and Maa Sita had consecrated the Jyotirling at Rameswaram after killing Ravan while returning back from Lanka. 22 Kund Snanam or Theerth Snanam: 22 Kund Snanam starts with Samudra Snanam at Agni Theertham . It is believed that the first kund/theertham lies submerged under the sea and hence the snanam ritual starts from taking a dip at  Agni Theertham . Agni Theertham is just walking distance away from the main temple. After the Samudra Snanam it was time for the 22 Kund Snanam. And all t...
