A way to give back...

Giving back to the society??? This sentence sounds a bit odd.. Yes, because we always believe in taking from the society... and we have taken it for granted that we'll always take from the society...
Since our arrival to this beautiful world, we have taken almost everything from the society... It may be good education, good job or a safe and healthy society... and we assume that building a good society is the responsibility of Govt... Yes, you are right.. however, our country is a developing country.. not a developed country... Govt is doing its work at its pace... and since our country is one of the most populous country in the world, a lot of unprivileged people are there in the society.. unfortunately they are deprived from everything... they also don't get their basic school education... That's why the role of privileged people become very vital... Under current scenario, all the privileged people should raise their hand to support the unprivileged people..

We may argue that.. "I am only surviving with great difficulty.. then how can I help someone else??" My dear friend, let me take a quote from the father of our nation: "God has given enough for everyone's need but not for their greed".
If we'll analyze properly then we'll find that we have achieved our need... now we are in the process of achieving our greed...

I have a strong feeling that everyone should give back to the society at some point of time... I think TIME has come for us now.. This is our time to give back to the society... A little contribution from each of us will make our society a lot better... But now the question comes how to contribute?? Yes, we can contribute through internet..
Please visit the below site to give your donations...

To conclude, let me reiterate..."Give... God will give you more..."

Its a nice intoxicating piece...I feel we have to release ourselves from the hooks of yearnings which obstructs/restricts us in many different ways...But it is not even an easy job to get out of it...Although,I even know,if it is not NOW than its NEVER...

We are the part of the society..it's not an independent entity...If a child takes something from his parents then he shouldn't regret for the same but yeah when the times come to give something back to them then he should open both his hands...The same way the so called society is our own home...
I don't think this donation will help in some way as money can't buy everything...
Let me share my today's experience..our house owner came to our house to take some of her stuffs. I asked her for tea and you know what she said..she told me; you speak in such a lovely way that's enough for me beta..Sometimes I feel people don't always need money but a loving touch also...
We have not developed yet because we people still believe in discrimination...Discrimination between rich and poor, men and women, white and black...now we have started it as North Indian, Marathis..Sounds strange..How we will fight with poverty, terrorism if we start fighting like this ???

Right now I'm in US and I can see why this country has developed and prosper so well..Here an African can become President. If wife goes to work then husband takes care of the house hold stuff. George bush is imitated as a monkey on a greeting card..and the comment was innovation or technology :) ...Really here people have all the rights..Here Indains celebrate their Independence day, parade on the road...Is it possible in our country???
It's high time that we should teach people to live and let others live...

Yes, to some extent you are correct that giving money will not solve the problem... but what is the solution? How we can contribute to our society? I thought a lot and concluded that let me start by giving some donations through internet. In the current scenario, this is the most feasible solution.. Please share your thoughts by giving some solutions...

Thanks...

Thank you for mentioning GiveIndia on your blog. It is a transparent way to give back to society and you can do it sitting anywhere in the world. The best thing is that after you donate, within a few months you get a report telling you exactly whose life you helped to change. That is a great feeling.

UHAULing.... in US...

In this blog let me share my experience of shifting home in America... You have to do the following activities for shifting your home... 1) Buy the card board boxes and pack your stuffs on your own... 2) Rent a truck to shift your stuff from one place to other and you have to drive that truck on your own. That truck is provided by a company called UHAUL. 3) Place all your stuffs inside the truck on your own. So, you have to carry your sofa, bed etc on your own. Therefore, you have to be a body builder to do all these activities. Remember, here there is no human labour to help you out. If you are hiring human labour then be ready to pay a hefty amount. 4) OK... All the stuffs are now packed and placed inside the truck. Now drive the truck on your own. 5) Reach the destination. 6) Unload all the stuffs.... Again on your own... 7) Return the truck to UHAUL (company) and pay the rental... 8) Your shifting is done... Cool..... That's how you have to live in USA. So, life is very easy he

Chase your passion...

Do you have some passion that you always wanted to do since your childhood??? Yes, I know we all have.. but we don't dare to chase it.. Because in India, we think only doctors and engineers are well respected in the society.. Hence, at any cost we have to become either a doctor or an engineer... Therefore, if you want to become a sports person or a singer or a dancer or a writer etc.. it's not allowed.. So, you sacrifice your area of interest and succumb to the pressure from society and put all your effort to become what your society want you to become.. Ok.. Now you have lived all most half of your life.. and somewhat successful (in career) by seeing your current stature..Your half of the life has gone by... in fulfilling other's wishes and their dreams.. Suddenly you realize that you have never lived for yourself.. I think this is the best time to invest on yourself... to chase your own passion.. to do something that you always wanted to do... I know we all are living a r

Rameswaram Trip, TN - Char Dham, Jyotirling & 22 Kund!

Rameswaram Trip - Har Har Mahadev! Trip Date: Nov 5th and 6th 2022 Distance from Bangalore: 611 km Time taken by road: 11 hrs Road: NH 44 and NH 87 - Road condition - Excellent Rameswaram is a town on Pamban Island, in the southeast Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It’s known for Shri Ramanathaswamy Temple, a Hindu pilgrimage site with ornate corridors, huge sculpted pillars and sacred water tanks. Devotees bathe in the waters of Agni Theertham, off the beach east of the temple.  Lord Ram and Maa Sita had consecrated the Jyotirling at Rameswaram after killing Ravan while returning back from Lanka. 22 Kund Snanam or Theerth Snanam: 22 Kund Snanam starts with Samudra Snanam at Agni Theertham . It is believed that the first kund/theertham lies submerged under the sea and hence the snanam ritual starts from taking a dip at  Agni Theertham . Agni Theertham is just walking distance away from the main temple. After the Samudra Snanam it was time for the 22 Kund Snanam. And all these kunds/theertha
